Voice of Purpose is seeking team members to contribute to the process of developing and delivering new projects in 2024 across Canada and the US that will provide professional development training for community engaged artists, and strategic change management support for arts leaders of colour.
This opportunity is open to applicants who are Canadian and US residents. Ideal candidates have deep experience in their field, who can contribute to our projects on a strategic and tactical level. The candidate will be taking directives from our Executive Director and may be delegating and managing a small team or engaging with external partners.
Marketing Consultant
This role requires experience in the domains of marketing, outreach, partnership and promotion strategies. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and launch of VOP’s 2024 projects portfolio, including creating and sharing engaging educational content, managing promotional outreach initiatives, and driving community engagement within the community arts sector. Proficiency in social media ads, podcasts, websites, and online educational platforms is essential. In-depth knowledge of the Community Arts non-profit sector and equity-focused arts initiatives is highly desirable. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with sharp attention to detail, capable of managing project life-cycles, leading teams, and executing brand strategies. They will collaborate closely with the Executive Director and the VOP Team, contributing to strategic planning and driving marketing goals forward.
